The Eyes of History Exhibit

The White House News Photographers Association was established 100 years ago in order to protect and promote photographers documenting the US government. Each year, the association honors photographers from the field with its Eyes of History prizes. In this exhibit you will be able to see select images from award winning work from this year, but also from the history of the association. 

The exhibit is split into two themes:

1. The first is a series of panels featuring the history of the association through key photographs of presidents and government business arranged by decades. 
2. The second series of panels are the award-winning categories for this past year.  Categories include:

• Still Photography
• Broadcast Video
• Digital Storytelling
• Student Still & Video Photography

Select catalogs of the WHNPA Eyes of History awards from 1992 to the present will also be on display.
