OER/ZTC Stipend Opportunity

The OER Committee welcomes all faculty to apply for funding to support them in converting a class to using OER/ZTC options or substantially revise the OER materials for an existing ZTC course.

Quick notes:

  • Applications are due May 24th, 2024. 
  • Stipends will range from $1000 - $3000 depending on the scope of the project and will be for the 24-25 academic year.
  • The OER Committee will be providing support and training as part of this effort – attendance at one training will be required.
  • Have any questions? Please reach out to any of the OER Committee members.

The committee will be ranking applications using a rubric. Please make sure to review your application, so it aligns with or reflects these components:

  • Potential impact measured through student enrollment
  • Presence/alignment to DEIA principles
  • Project's ability to expand OER in the field
  • Feasibility of the proposal to be completed
  • Faculty experience with OER

Also, projects will be awarded stipend amounts using the following guidelines:

  • Projects that are adopting existing OER/ZTC without substantial edits: $1000
  • Projects that are adopting and substantially adapting/revising OER: $2000
  • Projects that are creating new OER: $3000
